Of course, a show that contains so many interesting and imaginative characters is bound to have a bunch of different ships in all directions based on personal interpretion of both the character and their relations symbolism. But a good story always has a solid justification for shipping like Dash and Soarin(pegesus,admiration,love of flying) or the more usally silly symbolic ships like vinyl and Octavia (musical talent,opposites attract(one must also rembered that this personality is just popular interpretion though there is little reason to doubt it.) but when you just pull some reason out of your ass to justify why you see two character should become intimate(an extremely elevated social process)and it’s not some silly or experimental story, then your just self inserting your interpreting and unless you write it masterfully(Lauren Faust)it’s just word pollution onto the great ledger of human literacy.And one should always take into account except for maybe Spirarity and possibly a few others no ship is truly cannon.

I agree with this. I only ship because its fun (Bigmac x Everypony!! XP) and gives easy drama for practice writing.

That argument has a flaw, the idea that they are lesbian because of the majority female population of the town could be applied to all the characters in ponyville and your implication runs on the implications given in the show yet the show also showed only straight couples in Hearths and Hooves day so you opened an argument based on the the population imbalance of the town leading to to the probability of applejack being a lesbian due the lack of possibility for a heterosexual relation but the episode showed that the imbalance is not an impediment to a default relationship so your argument that you based on a implication of imbalance and probability and which is only applicable by those who would insert that as a factor is is directly contradicted by the show on which your argument is founded on.Suffice to say your argument can’t be used as a proper argument. In this fashion.

After watching this part a few times and listening closely I’d say that due to the way she speaks it’s ambiguous whether she says “I’m, uh” or “I’m a”. Sounded more like an “a” to me, I don’t know if it might be subtle nod to shippers or just a weird sounding “uh”, but I certainly don’t think it’s a crime to headcanon the former if that’s what floats your boat.

The truth is whatever the masses believe it,regardless if it accurate or not.This pattern has been repeated in society that most common knowledge is either extremely exaggerated or a flat lie.So of course There will those who not even a flat denial by the show could could change their ideas due to their view of the world in way beyond the shows influence that they will merge with the show to sync with their interpretion of everything.
