@Scrounge
Shippers logic is hard to decipher and is mostly done by whoever can yell their interpretations the loudest. The only one who can say what is what Is the artist or commissioner.And even then just try to take the tag off…it would be back in less than an hour.
@Antonyourknee
Twi ain’t got a flag at all. I’d say in a pic this ship-happy, if it had been meant to be Twixie, they’d have been touching, or at least waving or something
@Scrounge
Probably not but in a picture this ship happy,Them simply standing next to each other will override any arguments about her flag or whatever.
@Scrounge
Than you for that. In all the arguments I ever had dealing with sexuality,philosophy and humanity’s future you are the first to ever apologize to me which I appreciate greatly and so in turn If my thoughts of human rights or destiny disturb you, I apologize for such. I am sure we are both still building our perspectives on the world we live in and as time passes things we will abandoned parts and add others to our world view. At least our love of ponies will always allow us a refuge form the perceived insanity of the world.
@Antonyourknee
I’d be closer to a misotheist. I see God as an unknowable outside factor capable of anything. I see God as danger that can only be understood, or even identified, in retrospect. The concepts generally associated with God are, to me, frightening ones.
But our philosophies aside, I simply wanted to apologize for being so quick to anger and mistrust.
@Scrounge
To me god has always been a force or entity that beside being involved in humanity’s creation and evolution in some significant way and subtly involving “himself” in world affairs at the digression of a plan that does subtly conveyances those who can lead to greater things but such conveyances are often at the expense of all. And his plan is generally for his creation to succeed and expand as much as possible with our full intellect and bodies. He didn’t Create the universe,he is only as omipatant in comparison to modern humans with our technology,food,medicine and connection being omipatant to cavemen. We have evolved in ways not unprecedented but in ways that now crisscross our development and such things must be resolved.
Countless have in their ignorance tried to understand god by making him more ideal to their current culture. Used the worship of different interpretions thousand of years old to motivate their actions and often to suppress and destroy.But that is simply human nature, not the will of god they limitly classified with misinterpretations of other beings and the greatest of embellishments and understanding. Even today many claim to Chanel him and believe it gives them a badge of authority that leads them to act with impunity in a world that is increasingly becoming more obstinated by such blatant action. Still it was all part of the plan,without religion even as varied and inaccurate as it was gave man to will to believe their was more to life than what we saw even if flawed. Still gods will was only a minor part of my last explanation and I’m sure even an atheist would agree with me than humanity is a dangerous crossroads which we must fill the uncertainty of now with the purpose to achieve a state of existence better than our last using the incredible though still relatively small archive of human knowledge to make this advancement a reality. And maybe one day we will discover a universe that makes the flights of fancy of our ancestors seem trivial.
@Antonyourknee
Sorry for going off on you like that last night. It’s just… The people I’ve seen speak of the will of God are bad people, and they use such rhetoric to serve bad purposes and as an excuse to do bad things. Their God is misery, and their God is murder, and it is in the best interests if humanity to defy such a God, if possible.
And I suppose I should mention that I find the concept of God deeply unnerving in general.
@Dangerous Amoeba
Man why do you keep acting like some hipster/redneck bunker baby raging up against the “man” and aligning rules with force?…such behavior tends to discredit arguments when one garners such obvious bias and simply gives others ammunition to decry your ideas about society….really now it’s all just silly.
@Scrounge
Well if that’s your view that your view. Its was obvious from the start that we both have different perspectives of the world and both see the other as the one who is blind or ignorant to some level.I’m glad that Dangerous Amoeba opened up this dialog today as I’m sure we all learned at least a little bit more about the world. And how we react to this fuddling of our expectations is something important as it wont be the last time the world provides us with a new perspective.
@Scrounge
Hmm personally I think a truly progressful world could rapidly clone lost limbs or organs and mental illness and physical deformity’s could be genetically weeding out of the human genome by personal genetic modification at birth. This is the future man should achieve,should be rapidly heading toward now where the things that plague our society now become irrelevant as we evolve to outgrow them but like I said the world is too distracted and unambitious, filled with devious and the ignorant who reject this future and want one blindly without thinking of the necessity and consequences to achieve this evolution. Its gods will for mankind to become all it can be at its merit. Man must become more but not lose sight of itself by pacing our capabilities in the right direction less we fall apart. but of course were still having trouble making Genetically modified hazelnuts thanks to the constant bureaucratic and social staleness that plights the world.
What I truly want is a world of machines that can love. A world where the ailing can have their broken or defective body parts swapped out with new ones from the factory, where mental illness can be cured by a skilled coder. Where logic walks hand in hand with compassion. It’s a long way off before it’s even theoretically possible, but does it hurt to dream?
@Antonyourknee
I can’t weed out everyone who uses the bible to oppress people, there’s too many.
