Villain Edition (Note: This is specifically going off the minions that showed up in the OVA)
Angel: Forever (Yeah, I went there)
Sugarcoat: Hol Horse (It just makes sense for the minion with the least loyalty to DIO be replaced by the Crystal Prep student who insulted Sci-Twi the most)
Chrysalis: J. Geil (Both are rather depraved individuals with tricky powers)
Cadance: Enya (I figured Cadance would fit in quite well as the second most loyal member of the minion squad)
Derpy: N’Doul (This one just speaks for itself)
Flam: Daniel D’arby (Cheater Nonpareil)
Shining Armor: Vanilla Ice (While I’m fairly sure Shining won’t cut his own head off, he would definitely have the most loyalty to TWILIGHT and make a fine last wall for the crew to get past)
seeing the equivalent of magic in this world is science, “twilight” would be the best scientific of his generation, it is likely that your thinking is neutral, just be interested in the results.
Here is a good opportunity for input other strong villains in magic, which in this case would be scientists, they could corrupt “twilight” human.
The authors alos interview before he left the movie “rainbow rock”, the audience wonder “discord” and “Zecora” will appear in the next movie, answer was “yes”.
Here would be a good opportunity to get them, “discord” and “Zecora” are strong in magic pony in the world, here would be very skillful scientists, teachers may “twilight” human. Inclusive “Tirek” and “Scorpan” might appear.

Hmmm… nothing comes to mind except the background ponies… and I’m pretty sure Doctor Whooves is a teacher at Canterlot High, by a collective headcanon’s view

interesting. aside from the major villains, any minor protagonists from the show would fit as part of human twilight’s science team that you might recommend ( they might have aspects of them that i might have missed)

from what we know about…human twilight will go to canterlot high and investigate and probably a good chunk of the movie with about her being mistaken for pony twilight. other than that… there’s not much to work with unless they add another character as an antagonist (she could be an antagonist but unless she’s into and has access to heavy super science, she’s not much of a threat).
i remembered that sd gundam sangokuden’s brave battle warriors had an episode specifically about armored cavalry…and what the enemy did to make that unit a non-factor (lots of sacrificed troops and a rain of arrows)
