an sd gundam force crossover for ponies is doable but it’s a very grimdark one (there’s a show based reason for the lack of horses in one of the dimensions there)

one problem with that thought: no horse-modeled Zoids. closest to that would be the Robot Unicorn or Fuunsaiki. anything else mecha related for ponies is usually under uc77

I guess the premise that you can’t be true gunpla fan if you can’t fight is a turn-off for me. that or it’s all the gundam fun with no heavy morals ‘weighing’ it down (so basically, yoshiyuki tomino’s worst nightmare).
 
i guess zoids can be a nice thing to adapt to ponies too, crystal ponies are holotech zoids (i guess)

it all depends on the builder capabilities and the coding set into the GP Base. Anyway, I seriously doubt they’d developed something like the G-Bits for the Gundam Heads or the Dark Army, and that’d be too OP, even considering the set-up. there’s probably a rule in the tournament handbook about not having external assistance like those mentioned. G-Bits are basically the same thing… but I think there’s a catch.  
Also, its a standard trope of unnamed background characters joining forces to take on a common enemy.

it’s the fact that there’s a team out there wanting to kick his ass for doing that to them AND that team is called the losers that’s got me disturbed. the fact that those relationships never lasted is a WTH moment for me. basically they did roybea roy’s thing, but disregards the nice guy aspect (he was going for the captain’s love interest because they’re not a couple yet but backed down when they were). and about the DG, they can implement the GN particles (sengoku astray even developed a method to combat gn particles) is a weird thing for me

It mostly involves the Pilot and the quality of the gunpla.  
The Devil Gundam didn’t have the capabilities of the DG cells because that probably qualifies as a Virus hack. Exia… well, with Tatsuya piloting it, you know he’s bound to bring out the potential.  
And Fellini’s ITALIAN, the most romantic gentlemen in Europe. and he’s a Dandy, they’re KNOWN for smooth talking. Besides, if a girl leaves a guy because he lost one fight, it’s her loss.

right now i’m not into build fighters…between how they wrote fellini (how can he be written as a true friend if he’s more than willing to take another guy’s girlfriend if the girl comes on to him?)and somewhat lax adherence to the show’s laws depending on the character (devil gundam can’t do devil gundam stuff but exia amazing can do exia stuff)

generation gap is also a factor, and the availability of the manga.
 
and AGE is meh. Universal Century is good, but I’ll always love the Future Century set. and Gundam Build Fighters only makes it more fun.

gundam age tried the generation thing but the compressed episode list makes the whole thing very messy. a lot of shows/comics have yet to resolve their main storylines while jojo probably resolved theirs a couple of times for the same amount of issues/episodes. one of the things that make me wonder is why is eiichiro oda keep getting lauded for making characters with unique abilities and powers when araki’s been doing it longer and better (depends on one’s views though)

the generational story of jojo is one of the underappreciated epics of our time. it’s also one of the factors that makes it hard to fully adapt with other series unless you can see the big picture and be able to map every character.

besides, if you can create a story with MLP characters that can emulate JJBA, that shows real talent.
 
honestly, y the only writer that I’ve had the pleasure of knowing that can do JoJo-esque stories is the Crossover lord, Kyugan

the comparisons have gone haywire for me. i wanted to make human twilight do the ‘you lost to me in this game of wits’ but i realized it works as well for evil sunset in EG1
