It’s hard to tell really, some have been getting on my case on this site sometimes, especially in regards to the comic… (So sorry, if I got to defensive.)
Surprisingly, there wasn’t much drama over the “Rarity & Babs” issue, so maybe there’s still hope for the series.

Well, to each their own, we’re all entitled to our opinions, but it might be better to take a break from the comic for awhile if it upsets you that much, or if you feel it’s gotten that bad.

I like how you say that like I’m some kinda “troll/troublemaker.” (Which is quite ironic… As I’m not even overreacting here. That “hipster brony,” and “sunshine” remark was just me being facetious/silly. I do that sometimes. I have nothing against anybody here. I apologize if I seemed rude.)
Before people start labeling me a “Hasdrone,” or something again, I will admit there were a few issues I found kinda dull, and I’ve critiqued MLP, (the show & comic) as well, but I still like the comic series. (And show for that matter.) That’s just my opinion. Nothing against anyone, but ranting, and raving about how this issue (that isn’t even out yet) is going to “improve” it.
There’s also a difference between giving “negative-critique,” and constantly bashing something.
If people have a right to bash the comic, (and Katie) then I can disagree, and have a different outlook on the series. Don’t see why that makes me the “bad guy” here.
I think I’ll balance out all the hate/bias, and be the first to say this issue doesn’t look that bad to me. (ZOMG! “HIPSTER BRONY!”) The art’s quite good, and I like Granny wupping the vine, and the confused Derpster is kinda a cute bit.
Judging an entire comic issue on 3 pages is like judging an entire TV episode on a 3-minute scene.
(Of course, it’s probably not going to change peoples’ minds who hate the comic no matter what happens in it, at this point.)

I kinda disagree, as she’s also the writer of some good stories like “Return of Queen Chrysalis,” and the “Big Mac” story, and such. In fact, I actually liked “Neigh-Anything” despite the hate it got.
Granted I never really read “Reflections,” (the story-arc that started all the MLP comic-hate) but I know some who did like it despite it’s flaws.

I judge them by what they’ve done recently as well as for their personalities.
Cook has written nothing but shit recently, she doesn’t seem to even remotely acknowledge that it was shit, ergo, her next story is probably going to be shit.
Sorry, but after writing the last arc and not showing any signs that you think that maybe you didn’t do the best possible job, I just don’t have any more trust in Cook.

……… hell they could have had it that the reason WHY they were unable to was because of aj’s great uncle writing a bunch of half thought out laws. be contrived but it would be far more sensible, and hell aj herself said her uncle was not that sensible a pony. and the bulls are taking advantage of that stilted law.
the climax could ahve been twilight amanging to contact the regal sisters are basically correct the stilted law.

i have to laugh at that. lol. i would argue for the comics as a whole being damn good, but the last one was admitably a major mess and fully agree there. hopefully they have more of an a game here. and have a reason that does not undermine the fucking god tree rooted in the everfree.
…….. i think the major problem with the previous issues was they tried to go to a completely different mindset. they went speghetti western route, make the hwole thing a farse. problem is that mlp does not work very well as a farse in that context. equestria is a world, and is even more of a world to the fans of mlp. so you cannot get away making a farse unless you have some alternate kind of context to what is going on. like in power ponies. ]since the elements of super heroes and dumb technology things like that hair dryer laser exist as a fictional thing in equestria, it exists only in comics.
