Technically speaking, there is a breed of spider with wings, but their wings are less for flying and more for gliding due to the wings’ small and slightly inflexible nature. As you might imagine, this breed is in the jumping spider family.

If it helps there are ‘Daddy Longlegs’ spiders. The name is applied to at least three different creatures around the world. In the states they are insects with a pair of oversize antenna making them look like spiders and a type of completely harmless spider, in Australia they are a deadly poisonous spider.

First thing I thought when I saw this was “aww, Cadence is a love bug now.”

Various young spiders do not need wings, long story short they sort of “parachute” away on wind using their webbing.

Eight legs, twice as cuddly snuggles. In fact, web is holding him down, no need to hold him down with a pair of your own legs, means FOUR times as cuddly snuggles.

That is weirdly adorable.
