That’s where I got the motivation to make Kalianne such an unbelievably kind and friendly character came from. I think it’s a neat contrast against what you’d just naturally expect from such a creature. Originally she was going to be a lot more aggressive and intimidating. Not bad, but very jealous and domineering, but I just rolled with this instead.

I hear that. I’m the first person to say “draw what appeals to you” and “to each their own” and whatever, but it definitely does suck to be a dude who’s not into vore or hypnosis while simultaneously being into lamias, where like 98% of artwork is based around at least one.
 
Same with the whole concept of monster people to begin with. I love the idea to death, but just try and be a gay man in that crowd. The ladies are these cute and sexy snuggly-wuggly things, while the males are either big fat orcs or nasty little goblins. And that is assuming they don’t do the whole “all-female needs human males” thing.

I don’t mind at all. I’m fine with posting standalone characters from pics I’ve made; I just don’t normally do it unless someone actually specifically asks for it. That is, I don’t mind if I actually can. Like, someone wanted the sphinx I made without the background and dialogue which I couldn’t do because I didn’t draw her past the doorframe.
