You would not believe the giggles that guy’s pictures give me. He’ll always have a seat and a drink waiting for him in the Badumverse as far as I’m concerned (God that sounded so conceited lol). As for giants, I have an idea for one pic but don’t know where I’ll go from there.
 
It won’t be Midnight Eclipse, though. As a rule I don’t touch other people’s OCs unless it’s something like Wheely Bopper or Tatzljack (that lots of people are doing already anyways) or if I know for a fact the original artist is cool with it, just out of fear of doing something with their character they don’t like.

I think I’m going to use “Paraquestria” here. I think of Princess Celestia finding Shining Armor in the 8 legs of Caddy Long-Legs and being like “A Paraquestrian?!” and it just has a nice ring to it. Like a Light-World-Dark-World-Legend-Of-Zelda kind of vibe. I like it. Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

Huh… that pic doesn’t do much for me, considering it’s not so much based around a dullahan, and more “a prank”; The dullahan, to me, is a NATURAL “creature”, rather than a living creature capable of just doing… that, after a spell.
 
Good mindset, actually… “This is weird, but so is everything else, so… alright.” Heh… I almost want to see a nine-panel comic of him looking at a regular Earth Pony, inspecting it in seven frames (from different angles), then saying “Hi!”, with the Earth Pony’s head just cracking open and revealing a demonic endoskeleton, only to have GMHAA go “OH, THANK GOODNESS!”, like he was scared of finding a pony that’s totally normal on the outside and inside as a pony.

I meant a name for the series in general. The idea is that there’s a parallel Equestria where all the ponies are monsters, and sometimes they cross dimensions and cause trouble in Equestria. I’ve kind of wanted to make it a play off the word “Equestrians” to refer to them as a whole, but I can’t think of anything off-hand to use :/
 
Dionaea sounds cool, though. I’ll keep that in mind to name a plant-pony oc should I make one. Overall I want to do two, one big flower-type (like Solitude’s pic) and one that’s small and mobile (based on the mandragora / mandrake).

My mindset for that is that everything in Equestria is strange to GMHAA so he has no idea what he should and shouldn’t find alarming. A snake pone or a sentient stomach parasite or giants (spoiler ;P) are on par with magical unicorns and sun-moving Goddess ponies.

But honestly, I like how you have this very casual manner of introducing characters (most of the time): Having them eat, having them talk normally, etc. The strangest one was Mave, and even then, she ended up just being comforted after an unfortunate scare. Other than that, you had the goo-pony explicit scene.
 
But for the most part, Jim Haa just ends up being brought to these ponies’ lives through casual circumstances.

Well that sounds promising. I got to thinking after that Iron Giant clip I posted and having recently played Child of Light. The game has a golem party member that gradually undergoes character development by traveling with the protagonists. The golem was made as a guard and had spent centuries alone, guarding the same spot. Then the Big Bad kicks him off the floating palace he was on and he ends up shattering on impact. The protagonists put him back together and he helps them out of gratitude.  
 
And while he considers himself complete after being put together again, after traveling and interacting with the party he gets the odd impression that there’s still a piece missing inside. All very touching, really.

I do have plans for a plant pony. One for the set of alternate universe monster pones (which still needs a name c’mon guys help me I’m terrible at names here) and one for the encyclopedia set.
 
When remains to be seen. I kinda just draw on whim with no real planning ahead.

I’m hesistant to do mechanical ones because I’m very bad at drawing technology and machinery. I’ve been trying forever to draw a plane pony of my own but can’t make it look right. I have been getting some great tips from a friend of mine though so come hell or high water I will post that damned plane pony at the very least.

I’ve wanted to do a dullahan ever since I spotted these two pictures but just haven’t gotten around to doing it yet. I’m a huge fan of playing the surreal completely straight as if it were an everyday occurence so I want to come up with a really good idea first. One I had was GMHAA and his/her body in a jacuzzi asking the head to join them, who’s just like “I don’t like water >:[” or something like that.

I know we have “The Headless Horse”, but it’s meant to remain Headless. I get the feeling that a Dullahan-Pony might actually lose its body, or its head, and forget where the other one is, so taking walks to find it would be an endearing experience.
