Usually my bar for “Drama in the comments” is people arguing about stuff, regardless of what it is. Doubly so if Mod Intervention happens.

That’s a pretty low bar for drama. This is way more tame than all the alicorn Twilight crap from season three.
 
It’s okay man, we can disagree and still be friends.

Well whatever you think of her ideaolgy you can’t deny she wasn’t competant. She seemed savy, she set up traps,recognized the opportunity of Twiligths alicornhood, knew that dissent was in her midst and tried to root it out with fluttershy,safeguarded the mane six cutie marks herself, had an escape tunnel,dogged most of the water,appeared to want to sincerely create an equal society, shut up Twiligth and even managed to teleport away. And best of all the mane six defeated her by showcasing her inconstancy, It felt planed that whole dialogue when she was exposed…God…what a villian. Not since canterlot wedding have I been truly satisfied with an episode. I have high hopes for season five.

You treshold for drama is oddly low. “I’m not even mad” is overused, but I’m seriously not mad. It’s just bewildering that the point of the episode seems to have been missed entirely.

Exactly. Again, I’m not offended, but my god if anyone is actually serious about this they really didn’t watch the episode properly.

The tumblr comparison doesn’t even make sense. Tumblr is all about the million variations on sexuality and gender and race. This whole everyone is the same thing would drive them crazy.

People were already making jokes about it before. It was only a matter of time before the comparisons came about.

If anyone seriously takes THAT joke away from this episode, I just don’t know.
 
One, it’s not really all that funny, and two, no one on Tumblr is actually seriously arguing for an equality where everyone is not allowed to be unique. Have you seen all the different types of sexuality definitions that exist?!
 
I mean, I don’t really care about social justice on Tumblr, but equal rights for black people or other minorities in’t even the same thing as what the episode was about.
 
So I wouldn’t be against Tumblr jokes because they offend me, I would be against them because they are a spectacular misreading of the episode never before seen among bronykind.
