Spaceing is an animation term that reefers to the amount the objects move per frame.
 
Flash has a very distinct way it handles tweening and spacing, which shows up here in the redrawn. I can’t point it out here cause it’s so minute only those with a trained eye can pick it up.
 
TL;DR I know this is a trace and not a redraw by the way it moves without ever checking the source. I knew from the very first one this artist posted but didn’t want to be the one to call them out. Im just adding to the conversation here.

What errors are you referring to that someone wouldn’t copy by redrawing it frame by frame from reference?

pete, are you fishing for compliments? because that’s a really repellent habit to get into. i know i’m just taking some obvious bait here but i’ll just clarify anyways that i don’t see very many people bash your work. i mean, at very least i like it. i think most of the negativity stems from your own flippant antagonistic demeanor and behavior than anything else. yes i know you act like that for a laugh (to an extent) but still, you don’t need to self-flagellate like that in the comments, it’s unnecessary off-putting.

I can come in and say that this is indeed traced, because it also has the flash errors in spacing that show up.
 
But it’s still a lot of work regardless.

Additionally its all clearly hand redrawn instead of just lazily digitally retracing everything. Was Drawponies even actually retracing them or just literally copy-pasting then editing, I’m not sure.

Nah, this requires time more than effort, since every frame is a copy of an already existing frame. What I appreciate is time spent on this thing, especially if it’s done by one person.

This artist posted it for free, whereas Drawponies was making money for his traced art. Plus, I think this needs a lot more effort to put in than just drawing simple comic panels.
