a lot of people think/say that but it was more just the fact that Moondancer had just appeared and was basically a twilight clone, so I wondered what other unicorns would look like with the same hairstyle.
 
The arrangement was just to efficiently get them all in the frame.

Nah, not the princesses, and has to be new(ish) unicorn mares. So Starlight and Tempest fit, maybe Stellar Flare, Clear Sky, Fresh Coat, Saffron Masala…
