@Poptard
I used to be very anti-porn myself during my pre-teen to midteen.
But then since late teen, I gradually became more open minded and saw porn as somewhat a part of humanity.
Probably my dumb autocorrect. And what I meant was that she thought it was great that people could just like what they do without being pressured to think of something as stupid because it’s not meant for their demographic, because she mentioned personal anecdotes where people asked her what it’s like having a huge fanbass of “creepy manchildren” following her. You know, the opposite of some of Fury Belle’s more outstanding views, and the tumblrites who claim bronies are violating “girls’ spaces” and doing nothing but making porn of kids show characters.
@atalarikt
Because that kind of progressive insanity has nothing to do with my interest in ponies. I am not trying to kick “gender norms,” or anything of the sort.
I met her at a con this summer (Grand Brony Gala), and she really did behave like a normal, if slightly hyperactive, teenager. She had nothing but praise for brownies for defying gender norms and other “real” progressive stuff, so she’s very very far from Fury Belle.
@LuminoZero
“Relatively normal teenagers” who say stupid stuff on Twitter are subject to some backlash. People should know this by now about public social media.
The same could be said to those assuming she’s on the path to be some SJW monster. From the bits I’ve seen of her, on her twitter, in conventions, on those little videos she puts up online, she seems like a relatively normal teenager.
@LuminoZero
Actually, I wonder if any vegans replied to her? Like send her over recipes or tell her what the best substitutes are out there for her to eat. Like almond milk. It so good. Because that is what I would do if I had Twitter and such. Even if I’m not vegan. Or vegetarian.
Did you even read her twitter messages, or are you making claims off of second hand information? It certainly wasn’t “Holier than thou”. It was eager, sure, with the kind of simplicity that a teenager usually operates, but it was nothing like the Tumblrinas. Claire’s a good kid, don’t be so quick to demonize her as some kind of delinquent who is on the fast track to insanity.
@LuminoZero
This “holier than thou” attitude can be dangerous if it is not tamed before she reaches adulthood.
I hate to see Sweetie Belle, my favourite CMC, turn into one of those “moral guardians”.
She’s a teenager, calm down. People flipping shit about a teenager doing dumb things are not making it any better. And, spoiler warning, these over the top responses certainly aren’t helping.
@EyeGuy
Has anyone informed her parents about her blunder? They better deal with it before it mutates into something worse. I’ve seen this type of over-entitled attitude, it ain’t pretty.
@AppleDashWINS
I’ve mentioned it in the previous comments already, but if you’re too lazy to look for yourself…
On her Twitter a few days ago, Claire Corlett went on a HUGE (I’m talking like twenty Tweets or more) rant about how eating meat and dairy is bad, and she was demanding every single person on the planet to become vegan like her.
