claps I actually was not aware of lady gagas dancers to be that way. Forgive me but I don’t pay too much attention to celberties and society. Not that it’s a bad thing to seek such knowledge but I’m glad to see she stands such hieghts for freedom of sexuality. More people should be like her. ^_

They’re meant to be background dancers. That’s it. Their sexuality is entirely your headcanon.

Countess Rara is clearly on some levels a parody of Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga is known for her appeal to (and gratitude towards) the gay community for their early and lasting support of her. She incorporates gay themes into a lot of her work. Several (if not the majority) of her core troupe of dancers are openly gay or bi; she’s announced on stage that she was happy when a some of the guys started dating each other while on tour.
 
So yeah, they’re meant to be gay. Not as in “There are scenes of them getting it on in a bathhouse sitting on the cutting room floor.” But they’re meant as ponifications of real people who actually are gay. Being a male dancer doesn’t mean you’re gay, but being a gay male dancer who happens to be a pony does mean you’re gay. And a pony.

That’s a fantastic point. I would never in my life dress like a metrosexual, but that doesn’t mean I don’t respect them. I like to somewhat be the big helpful guy who’s more of the Manly type, but that doesn’t stop me from ordering the white chocolate mocha at Starbucks. Hell, sometimes I wish there were straight fit pants in more bright colors! I could care less if you’re gay, or bi, or metrosexual. That’s why I put up that tag, they authentically look metrosexual. I’m not being offensive. I’m not being funny. I’m just tagging what I see.

Wow. I hope some people felt that on the feels train because not going to lie, sexuality is apparently the most important feature in a pony. Not their hobbies or what their personalities are like. And because they wear fake eyelashes or some girly clothing probably didn’t mean they just do it to have fun. As Cyndi Lauper once said

Can we at least add “effeminate”? ‘Cuz, seriously, false eyelashes and studded black-leather open-front vests sure as hell ain’t masculine.

I’m trying to apply sexualities to people based on unrelated things too, but I am failing, there’s nothing gay going on here that I can see.  
I guess that must happen when you actually know gay people in real life.
 
Also a nice step-up from the twilight-dance. Hope to see more dancing ponies.

I kinda wish these guys didn’t just disappear in the end though. :(

I’m with @Pagan here, you can tell when someone acts gay (or appears to be gay)  
It’s not an insult, more or less a stereotype that actually makes sense.  
But not an insult.

There is nothing inherently homosexual about dancing. Stop adding gay tags.
