Agree with you on Twilight’s decision and the confusing Jesus thing. Also, if they’re all “humans,” what exactly makes Spike a dragon? He/She seems fleshy enough, and lacks any traits of a dragon beside the slit eyes. Aside from wings and magic, everyone looks the same.

Spike and Rainbow Dash are very different people. This is the first time we’re seeing Spike, so her characterization thus far is short, but I’ve always imagined spike, especially after season 2 or so, is really mature for her years, and has a really big, sympathetic heart. Especially considering that she knows exactly how Twilight feels right now both A: from personal experience, and B: from having lived with her for so long. Maybe that’s just my own personal optimism; i’ve never been in a situation even remotely close to this, so I can’t say, but I like to think i’d be forgiving when it comes to my loved ones fucking up, no matter what the fuck up itself is.

Hey, Baku, may I have three guesses on how this arc will end?

What really bothers me isn’t this just arc, it’s when you compare it to Rainbow’s. In Rainbows arc we see she actually has real feelings outside a libido and seriously has her feelings hurt. But now that it’s Twilight and Spike’s turn it turns on this sleazy porn logic. If Spike is ridiculously fine with it then Rainbow is just a big crying baby.

It would’ve at least looked much better if Twilight helped her afterwards, or at least went to go get help. Anything productive instead of just running away to feel sorry about herself.

‘enjoying it’ would generally imply it’s not rape. I mean yeah, you can feel pleasure but not want the sex to be happening, but I wouldn’t exactly call that enjoying oneself. Interestingly enough, Spike didn’t really enjoy what was happening. Spike just has a big heart and a little experience with not being in control of her own actions.

Having uncontrollable urges isn’t what’s fine. What’s fine is that Twilight recognizes and tries to stop those urges. Hence the whole ‘find a cure’ thing that’s been getting discussed since chapter 1.
