Also i think the message of this episode is basically “Love Letter” from Steven Universe. If you seen that ep then you know how will this MLP episode end. I think Sugar Belle will not pick any of them since they don’t even know her personality.

Feel like either Cheerilee or Marble had more sense. Marble is a hard working farm pony who also doesn’t talk much and their marriage would connect Pie and Apple fmailies permanently as a family. Cheerilee is his close friend and is very close to Applebloom and could work as her adoptive mother. Both shipfics just write themselves.
