I remember that Tenpenny guy from Fallout 3 was said to have come from England. So I wonder what that’s like. I know it’s not feasible but I wish we could like get in a Vertibird or something and fly wherever we want.

I wouldn’t mind a short sojourn into China in a Fallout game but I don’t know if it could hold a whole game, people bring up the 1950’s Americana aspect because it’s a staple of the franchise, without it it’s not really Fallout.
 
Personally I’d love a Fallout that lets you travel to different parts of the US, each with their own world maps to explore. Have an overarching narrative that effects the entire content, maybe start off as a caravan and choose your characters role in the caravan as the starting point: guard, medic, merchant, etc. Maybe have the railroads being repaired as part of the story with factions vying for it’s control or destruction and use it as a means to travel between world spaces, you need to do something in each place to fix or unblock the railroad so you can get access to new places. Maybe have some mission that have you leave the US and go to China or Europe to get something or deal with someone.

I would love to see what the rest of the world is like in the Fallout universe but every time the subject is brought up to the fandom… they get angry over the suggestion.
 
Basically they insist that “it’s not Fallout” if it doesn’t have the “1950’s American culture”. So they can get quite hostile towards anyone that suggests a Fallout game go outside the United States.

What I would like is a Fallout set in China… or Europe.

And there’s already some issues specifically because of the multiplayer aspect. Like there’s a quest where you are required to kill a specific enemy but you could find that the enemy is already dead and the quest marker just points to the body.
 
This is because a player on that server has already killed that enemy and you have to switch to a server where the enemy is still alive (or wait until that part of the game resets).

We wanted a fallout game that had multiplayer, instead we got a multiplayer fallout. Having the option to bring your friends with you on your adventures in a full fallout game would have been amazing, however what we got was a multiplayer game with some fallout elements in it.

It’s funny. We all wanted multiplayer Fallout, but now we don’t because it seems like a bad idea given what Bethesda usually does.

I almost shot another player the other day. I was fighting so many feral ghouls and the only reason why I didn’t fire was because I was confused when the feral ghoul was using a terminal. Then I looked more closely and noticed it was another player not a feral ghoul…

I would assume like something close to Fallout 4, but we don’t know much more than what we’ve been told. There is going to be a Beta of some form within the next few months, which should give us a pretty good idea.
 
You know…thinking about it, I think Betas should become a more common thing for games, especially big open world ones like Bethesda’s games. That way things like glitches and bugs and whatnot can be found and ironed out before launch.

Also, looks like V87 Super Mutants will be showing up, which is neat.
 
Also also, my first challenge run after completing the game is going to be a Flintlock only build. Don’t care if the gun will be shit or not, just Flintlock only.
