So it was all true then. There’s even a game component where you can gather keys to a nuke launching site and fire one up to hit wherever you want it to because that totally won’t get abused or anything.
Almost heaven, West Canterlot
Blue ridge mountains, Rainbow Falls river
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Canterlot
Mountain mamma, take me home
Country roads, take me home…
Guys, I’d like to help make you guys feel better with more positive news about the game; When they said it was “multiplayer”, they’re saying it’s gonna be “co-op multiplayer”. Similar to how Beyond Good & Evil 2 will be.
But he retweeted the teaser, which implies he still cares.
To be completely honest, I think all this speculation that it’s going to be a “Rust Clone” – anyone old enough to remember “Doom Clone”? – is complete hogwash until we get some confirmation on the subject by Bethesda, which won’t happen until BE3. Even the idea it will take place is only speculation; decently accurate speculation given what we are given in the trailer but speculation nonetheless.
I still firmly believe that Bethesda Game Studios is one of the best Game Studios out there. Certainly better than what EA and Activision have been pulling lately. Ubisoft has been getting better though. Konami isn’t even in the running anymore, unless you like Pachinko machines.
And while I agree that the Creation Club was a bit of a farce, at least they tried to give Mod Creators an official avenue of benefiting from their creations. Better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all, I say.
@TheMadMan
Well now I definitely see why he wouldn’t want anything to do with Fallout after that. Not that the whole Creation Club debaucle, Fallout 4 in general, and this new Fallout: 76 helps matters anyway.
Avellone doesn’t even work for Obsidian anymore. By the sound, they treated him like absolute garbage on the way out. Which, to be completely honest, I don’t like in the slightest. I may not like Avellone, but the way Obsidian treated him is obscene. They straight up barred him from working on RPGs.
