Honestly i would have been ok with pony sunset x pony twi if they would have done the smart thing and have human Sunset Shimmer show up giving Sunset a reason to go back home knowing her friends will be ok still having a version of her around but that ultimately she needed to go home and be who and what she was meant to be. A unicorn(possibly Celestia’s successor)

Some hints are kinda vauge honestly, and alot of fans tend to exaggerate almost any character interaction as “romantic.” (Heck, the whole “Lyra & BonBon” thing got started over them just sitting on a bench.)
Plus, the show’s pretty much over with now, so it’s kinda too late for anything to develop.

Yeah, that’s kinda how I felt about the “Edna & Skinner” break-up episode of the Simpsons where she left him at the alter. (Plus, that whole episode just felt so mean-spirited, and badly handled to the point I felt more sorry for Skinner then anyone else in it. Even Marge was a total bitch in it, for trying to encourage Edna not to give him another chance, just because she was angry at Homer. It was really none of her business to interfere with their relationship.)
I hated that episode of the Simpsons so much it was basically the “jumping the shark” final straw for me, and when I stopped watching the show regularly. (Only checking it out occasionally sense then.)
…I mean, I’m not a huge ‘shipper, and I wouldn’t of minded the break-up, if it was handled better, but as I said the episode just felt too mean-spirited, and almost every character acted like jerks in it, except Skinner, (aside from getting cold-feet, at first) and he was the one whom got the most crap in said ep’.
They did have an ep’ where Mac & Sugar almost broke up. Bet they flipped when that didn’t happen.
I guess with that “MacXSugar” drama, and such it’s probably a good thing the show never gave Shimmer a boyfriend, or girlfriend.

The petition was actually made at season 7 which makes the fact it only has 12 signatures more hilarious.and as I said before having them break up after entire episode about them getting together would be so annoying. I know someone will say it could work as a judge break up moral but ending a properly established relationship would be just to teach a lesson would be a dickmove

it’s pretty clear she’s pushing for twi and timber. it’s pretty clear that twi likes timber and timber has done a few things with her in the shorts.

Well, the uploader thinks that it counts as actual representation, as others probably do too. I don’t think bi Sunset is set in stone because of this, but I’m saying that if it IS true, I hope a tweet isn’t all there is to it.
