Either way, your entire justification that they’re the only aristocracy is that they are in the capital city, yet much richer people shown so far tend to not hang around Canterlot for much. In response to five, Celestia can’t personally oversee the enrolment roster for that particular event, especially since it’s very much a ‘first come first served’ sort of deal. And as for six, then how come only vapid and useless nobles live there? There doesn’t seem to be many business tycoons in Canterlot, and very few people seem to have actual employment.

The fight did not happen at ponyville, it happened at a place of ancient significance that happened to be somewhat near ponyville.

Yes it is, it’s wrong to assume it’s the only place for the elite to be, and it wasn’t the only place the Elements where, you remember the ancient castle they found them in, that is said in canon to be the old home of the royal sisters before Luna was Nightmare Moon, and we know nothing of what type of ponies made of the most of that area at that time, so for all we know it was all even and in one city then they broke off into a bunch of other cites with each one having a population made of mostly one type.

The canon that you are quoting off of does not enforce equality, it only enforces that other races ‘can’ be rich and smart in certain cases, but the overall point still stands that unicorn are to be considered the elite.

Canterlot is where the royalty is stationed, as well as the elements of harmony and were most operations seem to happen. Is it wrong to assume that that is the capital and hence since the capital is dominated by unicorns that unicorns could be considered the overall elite in social structure?

(Off-topic but I never got over the fact that in that episode Apples and FlimFlam brothers bet was about rights to sell cider and not about the whole damn farm but after the competition they were claiming that the farm belongs to the brothers and the Apples were planning on leaving too. It’s like there was a mix up in the script or something.)

You dismissed my statement about how the social structure seems even, when I pointed out that some cites have populations made up mostly of one type of pony, by saying we didn’t see much other then unicorns as aristocratic elite, when the only ones we say where in the city made up of mostly unicorns.

And I only stated that Stinking and Filthy got rich because of their own efforts. And if they only go to parties or go shopping or whatever all day, I highly doubt anybody would care what those racist asses do.
