I can’t think of any instance when giving people what they want did not actually make the show better.  
I mean, SOME (the same) people are whining that there’s a Luna episode, or a CelesLuna flashback bit, or there’s a geeky Shining episode, or ANYTHING that does. Actually. Make. Sense.  
Most of fanon is just stuff people like to think about because it’s interesting and it’d drive the show in interesting directions really.
 
I mean, we have the same entire conversation about PandaRings after those guys throw a fit about it every time, but everything’s really been said about it dozens of times. xD

I’m fine if other people don’t have this headcanon. You can just pretend they’re standing next to eachother. I however am going to squee a little, because this is my headcanon.
