Being against homosexuals means ignoring a part of reality, it’s the same as being a flat-earther.

While it doesn’t connect to the main plot of the season (as far as we know anyway) It is a massive character episode for Scootaloo and the CMC. I mean while it is obvious that Holiday and Lofty are a couple if you aren’t like dense, in denial or a child (ie any functioning adult should be able to tell what is going on here) its easily ignorable background character fluff.
