In the grand scheme of the site this ‘drama’ is not all that impactful. The site still gets hundreds of uploads a day. I would take an anecdotal guess that more than half of this site’s daily traffic don’t read any of the site’s updates let alone the comets under the pictures.
Of those that do not all will happen apon this drama, even fewer will give a shot enough to see what its about and even FEWER will give a shit when they DO figure it out!

Yeah, the front page. But if you spend more time looking, and find the perfect time, you’ll see that there’s more edits, memes, etc., etc. than good quality content. And remember, some people made edits of good drawings, but still edits.

As much as I HATE to immediately prove you wrong. I just checked the front page and the first three pages of recent submissions. Its by far mostly decent drawings with the occasional screen cap meme and 1 or 2 source film maker pics.
 
Not to mention how utterly ignorant it is to say that 100% of the again hundreds of submissions, are of poor quality. Furthermore the nature of the site means it doesn’t really matter if an artiest stops uploading their work here. Anyone can…

Also, Derpibooru have losed some good artists too. What’s the matter if the site still get uploads if the 80% are bad edits, bad drawings, screenshots from the episodes, memes, and others? Doesn’t the quality matter more than the quantity? I don’t know if it was intentional, or some kind of irony by the destiniy, but this gif fits perfect for you. Becase some people think that if more people ignore the problem, the problem is not that big, when it should be the contrary.
