The issues are only minor or petty if you don’t care about them. For others, it may have a big impact on the show. Something like the library getting blown up and a big, ugly, gawdy castle plopped down in the middle of the village where TS is going to live from now own apparently only further moves the basic setting and feel that made a lot of people fall in love with the show in the first place. You might now feel that way, and nobody’s reason for liking the show is more correct than the next person’s reason, but you have to recognize that rather than being so dismissive. That’s why there was such a big rift in the fandom regarding MMC and such, not just because of a disagreement, but because the people who didn’t like the change generally saw fit to be completely dismissive of the legitimacy of other fans’ feelings on the matter.
 
Digibrony had a problem in general with season 4 in that it didn’t seem, to him, to have as much heart put into it. I and some others feel the same way.

That’s the worse criticism that you can give to a critic “Oh you liked it ? Obviously you’re a sell-out.How much does the jews at Hasbro paid you hmm,hmm ?“The worst is that i saw this argument used on earnest in this website.I mean,me i dont like EQG at all and there was some critic who said “it wasnt that bad”.While i disagree and dont understand them,i dont launch accusations of corruption.

I think it was more the former. He also seems to have become much more bitter over S4, with him calling “You’ll Play Your Part” terible.

His characterization of the Twilight-Tirek smackdown sounds about right to me; it was a fairly thrilling action sequence, but didn’t have the heart, humor, or character-specific touches of the big Changeling battle scene. And I agree that Twilight’s new castle isn’t very appealing and is an unsatisfying replacement for the Golden Oaks Library. But those are just nitpicks, and not enough to make me dislike the season finale.

Diffrent People have different options. One Brony may think Season 4 is the bester Season every while another one thinks the show has gone downhill since Twilight’s coronation. Take me for example: I really like Daring Do and think Power Ponies was one of the worst Episodes of Season 4 and most people would probably disagree with me.
 
Reviewers aren’t that different. As long as he doesn’t insult people who don’t share his opinion or starts throwing around wild accusations (“Flash Sentry was clearly introduced to pander to the gay audience and Hasbro is the Anti-Christe who wants to kill every single Brony on the planet)I don’t see what’s the big deal about Digibrony liking or not liking Season 4.

I think this was made referencing his reviews for MMC. It was Season 4 that he went into an overly negative nitpicker who can’t be pleased.

He must have taken up reviewing at DerpyHoovesNews then, because the LPS reviewer there tears apart episodes and gives REALLY low ratings, based on minor grievances and nitpicks.

Is the reason for Digibrony’s new outlook from his perceived decline of the show, or some other reason outside it all?

I have a bunch of reasons, from him criticizing the scenes with all four alicorns for what amounts to a nitpick to dismissing the big fight scene as nothing more than a glorified light show. But my biggest gripe with his review is how he complained about Twilight’s library getting destroyed and having the new crystal tree castle in its place.

Think about it. It was an episode that was highly praised by the fandom and outside viewers alike. In contrast, he ripped the finale as if he disliked it. Even so much that other reviewers have questioned him, one of them had actually (albeit indirectly) called him out for it.
