except look at the chests of two, and likely all three, of the creatures there. those marks likely represent the gems we see fused to their chests. meaning that the gems are something that are not really part of theri bodies if they became something seperate when they were reduced to human form.
even more evidence is that we know magical items CAN be used the human world.
that is why i have that theory. these objects were somethign they discovered in equestria, at some point they became fused to theri bodies, when reduced to a lesser form they became seperate to them once more.
@SeraphimDawn
maybe they aren’t even ponies? they could be keplies or mermares.
their resemblance to windigos here is very large. thinking somehow they were some kind of aquatic equine to water sprite that managed to tkae the power of windigos……….
wait, there are three of them, and three windegos attempted to destroy equestria………
what if they somehow took what remained of the windigos blasted by the friendship fire, infuse it into the gems, and took their power to absorb negativity?
@SeraphimDawn
We get redeemed Sunset Shimmer in EqG2 saving the day, perhaps we get the Dazzlings back as minor villains and THEN ponies in 3/the spin off series. Hey, we already get EqG Twilight with glasses in the secret scene
An Aberdeenshire variation portrays the kelpie as a horse with a mane of serpents,[20] whereas the resident equine spirit of the River Spey was white and could entice victims onto its back by singing.[17]
@Red-Supernova
windigo kelpies…………. can’t help but wonder if they actaully ARE the same kind of thing as we saw in the comics, that or the merponies, that basically aquired windigo powers…….
