So do I. Allegedly the “Journal of Two Sisters” or whatever book the released in 2014 has something somewhere along those lines, but I’d still rather get it in the show, or at least in the comics.

…When you said “Twilight”, did you mean “Celestia”? Because if so, then yes, absolutely, I would say Celestia isn’t necessarily thrilled with the pedestal she’s been put on, and there’s a few scenes that suggest this in the show itself (“A Bird In The Hoof” and “Sweet and Elite”, if you’re looking for them.)

so she’s like a reverse kim jong-un? the (some of them at least) populace is the one perpetuating an aura of superiority about twilight and not the other way around?

I think she’d be fairly secretive about it, if only to keep her lover(s) from getting swarmed by the paparazzi and those among her subjects with delicate sensibilities from freaking out when they discover that their Princess has needs just like anypony else.
Honestly, I don’t think ponies in general have much of a problem with same-sex affection as our race does, and trend much more towards bisexuality in general than we do.
But anyhow, I had no problem with that arc- “Good” Sombra was given more time to establish himself as a character, he was charming and charismatic, and as a fellow ruler, relates to her and her struggles on multiple levels. Really, it worked, because they put time and thought into it.
The people who bitched about it are much more the people who whine about waifu-stealing that this comic is lambasting.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she knew the touch of a mare at least once, too, although college and any experimenting she may have done while there are probably centuries ago for her by this point
But I just was worried that referring to that particular arc directly would rile people up.
