I'm trying to figure out "The Hero's Journey" in the case of "Turning Red". Here's what the archetypes are, according to "Glove & Boots":

1. The Hero (the main character, usually an average person with a conflict they must resolve after going through the journey)
2. The Herald (a person, thing or event that sets The Hero off on their journey)
3. The Mentor (wise presence that guides the hero and gives them advice; also sometimes the archetypes can play more than one role, like The Mentor doubling as The Herald)
4. Threshold Guardians (tries to stop the hero from progressing their journey)
5. The Trickster (provides mischief and comic relief, usually a sidekick)
6. Shape-Shifter (character changing their role in the story, like The Trickster becoming The Mentor, a good guy becoming a bad guy, etc.)
7. The Shadow (the main antagonist or conflict that the hero must defeat)
No reason given
