My XLR cable has died before... Some loose connection deal... Hopefully it's not doing it again as my mic keeps disconnecting for a second or so every once in a while and that's what happened last time before I just couldn't get it to work at all


 
I have the Snowball mic as a backup, at least
 
The quality is 'meh' compared to my other mic.... but at least it's usable and sounds decent :P It's a good backup mic
