Attempting to upload an avatar for myself, it's in PNG format, nothing on the page specifies what format it has to be, but when I enter my password and click Save it prevents the upload and says "please match the requested format", but like I said there IS no requested format. Also, I see plenty of other users with PNG avatars, such as the person above me.
