No idea how to recreate it, sorry, it's completely random. Just tried accessing Derpi with vpn off, started clicking through the pages and the error appeared on page 3, opened an image page and started clicking "next image", got the error on the third image, on the image after that, then two images after. Same with page refreshes, sometimes it shows up after five refreshes, sometimes on the next refresh. My browser is Firefox 108.0.1.
