Party Favor is a hengstwolf, and he has a habit of barking and gnawing.: Hyou can easily trick him by throwing something alsong away from him to make him catch it. Other than being stupid, he is also insane, or both: his ibrokensan mitynd was worsened or caused by his indoctrination under Starlight.
He was unable to become powerful enough to beat Starlight because of the food that he used to eat while being equalised, or because he had his cutie mark removed, stripping him of his hengstwolf powers.
(The basis for this amusing idea was from his reaction to Brian the Balloon Animal's "death" in MLP:The Movie -- the way he says "No!" makes him look like he's howling, hence the idea of him as a dog pony.)
