Aside from the three rave ponies from The Saddle Row Review, the only new BG pony this season who has any fanart AFAIK is Strawberry Parchment, at _*11_* posts total, of which about 7 are screencaps (And maybe Purpura Phlox if you count Source, but both are by me. That's another thing, has the Source part of the community always been this slow at making models of canon characters?)

Stuck in the vicious cycle of the popularity event horizon, I guess... I'm actually genuinely surprised that such a thing has *never* been discussed before, I mean, it's happened with Touhou, and gaming in general.
 
Hell, we're not even getting any *Dinky* (the only non-speaking foal to have more than 1000 images and 9th most popular foal overall) art anymore, it's all Lyra, Bonbon, Vinyl, Octavia, and *especially* Derpy, who's the 10th most popular character (here after the Mane 7 and original alicorns). The dropoff after Trixie (#14) is the biggest gap between character tag counts, at over 11,000. That's more than all but 23 characters
