Given that I've been forced to throw them, I think I know a bit about how these explode. Outside of army training, a lot of people seem to think that grenades are built to explode one solitary second after they're activated.


 
Don't believe the art. I'm army myself, so I know. Grenades are more stable than most think. You can jostle them around and everything. They can bounce around in your bag or pouch or however your commanding officer has told you to carry them. And yes, it's all about how your *commanding officer* tells you to carry them.
