But if I had to pick one ... I actually rooted for Sunset Shimmer since the first movie.
 
It doesn't make sense to keep a pony in the human world to learn friendship only to keep the Mane 6 as six in Equestria. And then add Starlight to do just what Sunset could have done.
 
Typical >BUY OUR TOYS< strategy by Hasbro. Without Sunset in the human world there wouldn't have been any sequels to EQG which would have meant less toys to sell.
 
This doesn't mean I dislike Starlight for that tho. I actually hoped that she stays with the Six after Season 5.
