Yeah, the likeness of Pinkamena was actually accidental here. I have other images of this character in colour, which make him look a lot different. I think I drew his mane a little longer than usual, which probably didn't help either.
The main idea behind this character is that he's obsessed with achieving alicornhood via (pseudo)scientific means including some pretty grimdark experimentation. He was created as an antagonist for a storyline I was working with for an RP.
