your comment makes no sense. unless you've sustained a serious brain injury that prevents you from critically thinking about anything (which given the fact that you can read and type, i doubt) then it's not "too late" to reconsider the issue.

religious leaders =/= deities. if i were to hypothetically kill someone in your name -- in the name of "Silent Wing" -- would it be your fault, because i did it in _*your name_*? no, and the same applies here. if a "leader" does something contradictory to the nature of their teachings, that's not suddenly [deity]'s fault.


 
texts are a different story because they _*are_*, at least, part of the core belief system. even then though, nobody is saying you have to like all of it. i am Christian and there are still parts of scripture i struggle with. it's about trust and a relationship, not about blind faith.
