The claim that this is an actual violent threat is just absurd and really undermines the credibility of any opposition to his ideas.


 
The really pointless part is that for all this drama over his opinion, it's just that. He has no power to enact a gay relationship in the show, and in the comic he'd be likely limited to a background couple or new character at best. People are acting like he has the power to make their waifu a lesbian 5ever.


 
All the railing against him is pretty pointless given the above. I'd like to see him get the opportunity to write a gay couple in the comic, just to see whether it's handled appropriately or not. Then the issue could finally be put to bed.
