1) The texture error is on the eye lashes because it isn't a standalone model, you need the massive mlp mare pack. Her model is looking for eyelashes.vtf and eyelashes.vmf in materials/models/vn_mlp/common. It you don't have this folder, you will get errors.
 
2) Those black splotches are the engine rendering shadows.


 
This model is fine, you just have missing elements, or whoever made this is. Also, @source code, you mean the .qc file?
