Shad'up, and get on the Train. The only ones that might escape this fate, are Sombra, and Tirek.
 
As they were both basically use once, and throw away characters.
 
IMHO the best developed villain will be Solar Flare (i.e. Princess Celestia).  
Though the we might have to wait for the movie 'fore that happens.
