So it would increase friction in the crankcase by its low viscosity at operating temperature and get acidic quickly, possibly attack gaskets from its higher acidity and possibly leave sludge in the crankcase from blowby and lack of ability to carry dirt to the filter. Sounds like what motor oil used to be, before detergent oil was common.

The smoke, flash and fire points of it are all quite impressive on its own though not speaking for if it were used for miles.
