You know Overpowered doesn't equal mary sue, Flurry Heart is Overpowered but because she doesn't saved the day in fact she actually the almost destroy the day it doesn't make her a mary sue and the same thing can be sapplied to Starlight Glimmer in season 5 finale. While I haven't read anything about Nyx but based of the fan description of her she is an overpowered character not a mary sue. Also but despite that you can still make a good even great overpowered or even a mary sue character. Like Bill Cipher from gravity fall he actually and overpowered character but because how he interacted with his environment he is a great character that most of the Gravitu Falls fan love.
