*The Matrix_* was made a trilogy, with Parts 2 and 3 being _*The Matrix Reloaded_* and _*The Matrix Revolutions_*, respectively. They both sucked. Whenever someone mentions "the good one" or something similar, they're referring to the first one.
As for the Wachowskis, first Lana (née Larry) in 2012, then Lilly (née Andy) earlier in 2016, both of them came out as transgender after_*Revolutions_*.

That aside, I haven't seen their Speed Racer movie and I'm not planning to at this time.
