The current characters are pretty much done. We need some new ones. A lot of new ones. This show's world is brilliant, so why not move the story somewhere else? Close the book on the current characters, move the setting somewhere else, and introduce an entire cast of new characters with their own lives, challenges, fears, aspirations, goals, personalities, and insecurities.
Hell, just make a new show.
There are a **lot** of people in the world. There are a **lot** of ponies in Equestria. There are a **lot** of stories to tell and a **lot** of places to see.
