I do know one of the issues by Christina Rice took 2 whole years to make for some reason. I assume there was a long waiting period between finished script and starting the illustration in that particular odd case.
Another fact I know: Siege of the Crystal Empire's script was completed a year before the final issue came out (so that would mean 8 months before the first issue came out).
Writing might not take long, but the art might not always be scheduled to be done immediately after it. 3 months might be possible for some issues, but there seems to be a large variance.
