This is a cute headcanon explanation.


 
I still think it was a kinda bad idea,  
if only because the episode this changed was the one where changelings were taking over and replacing ponies...
 
Was tempted to presume it was a fake Trixie from the start.
 
But if it wasn't for that, yeah, I like your headcanon.
