Some hope, yes. A very warped part of me wants Steven to be forced to unlock her for help improving his weapon, and speaking to her, has a bit of a Metal Gear moment where he understands why Rose shattering Pink Diamond was necessary, how it made her realize shattering was wrong, and galvanized his desire for peace while helping Bismuther recover her soul.


 
Then he takes her to meet the two new members of the team, Peridot and Lapis! **everybody laughs, roll credits**
