No no no. No "Legends" bullshit. I hate it when people try to do that to discredit my valid arguments. Disney's "canon" isn't what Star Wars is about. If it wasn't for the expanded universe, Star Wars would not be nearly as vast or as good as it was, and many stories not only more plausible, but were written with more passion and quality, rather than painting over A New Hope and rebranding as a "new" movie.
 
Nothing personal. But if you're a fan of Star Wars, you have to take at least some of the EU into account.
