I think it's a pretty good setup for a potential future episode. Considering Trixie worked on the rock farm pre-redemption, it's probably quite likely she and Maud didn't get along in canon. Flash-forward to modern day; Starlight introduces her two best friends to each-other, only to find out they already know, and dislike, one another.
