I couldn't agree more.
 
Never have I hated the every-girl-team-needs-a-talking-mascot rule more than when the role fell on this poor bastard back in the first EQG movie. And now again. Think what you will about him, he doesn't deserve it. I know, I know, "lol taking it too seriously" and all but, it really gets more and more annoying the more we get confirmation that dragons are just as sapient as ponies.
