Some people only is annoyed Remane5 did't have the chance to shine like Twilight, Spike and Starlight. The trouble with Starlight is a new character and too many people believe she doesn't deserve that protagonism. I'm sure the trouble is the writers and the rating show, because there a lot of ways showing the best of Pegasi and earth ponies. But would very complicated to the younger fans understanding defeat a great threat without magic, laser beanms and spells.
To summarize, the critics towards Starlight are unfair, but the writers doesnt't help too.
