DThis happens because, unless you're being intentionally silly with your syntax and word choice, anything you say in text, by default, has a _hostile_ tone. This causes people's targeting systems to register you as an enemy. Because of this, debating on the internet is pointless. No matter which side you're on, you always lose, because the other person is usually staunchly unwilling to consider your point of view. This is why I don't do it. :/
